Engineering Design

We recommend if possible, that engineering design proceed in parallel with a study. This enhances the accuracy of the study, and enables AMS to produce a lump sum turnkey offer at the end of the study and initial engineering design aspects.

Whatever the sequence, we recommend the client proceeds with engineering design as soon as possible. AMS will carry this out at the minimum cost to the extent that a lump sum fixed price offer (including process and completion guarantees) can be put forward, thereby locking in the costs and minimising risk as early as possible in the project development. A time to complete this aspect of a project would be in the order of 16 to 18 weeks after award of a initial engineering design contract.
